We launched the boat on March 19th 2010. That is very early...and we are happy to see it on the water.

Boating Record
This is my waterski / boating blog of 2010. Since for me time on the water is so important I want to start recording what I do...
March 19th - Boat Launched skiing just a cruise to the Bay Side for dinner. The week was pretty chilly and had me worried. So one morning and evening I started the boat in the hoist to warm the engine.
March 27th - Worked on the boat hoist for 3 hours getting the motor to work better. I cleaned the strainer in the pump and added fresh oil. It was really quiet for the first stroke, i.e. warm oil, but then got very noisy on the second stroke when the cylinder oil way introduced to the reservoir. I though the noise was from cavitation but maybe it's from the oil bubbles. Or could be from cavitation because the oil is so thick. The water is 41F.
